Children's
Ministries
Our Purpose
Our goal
for the Children's Ministry is to bring children to the
saving knowledge of Christ and to help them understand the
great truths of the Bible. We teach them who God is, what
God has done and how to depend on God to live the Christian
life.
Sunday School
Graded
classes start at 9:30 am and are designed for all age
ranges. Sunday School teachers instruct the children with a
timely lesson from the Bible.
Junior Church
We offer
two levels of Junior Church
during the Sunday morning worship service:
1)
Children ages 4 through 5 meet immediately after Sunday
School for their Junior Church time.
2) Children in grades 1st through 3rd are dismissed
during the morning service for their Junior Church time.
Midweek Ministries
Truth
Trackers
 During the school year (September through June) the Truth Trackers meets each Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm to
about 8:15 pm. All children from 3 years of age through the sixth
grades are invited to attend. Truth
Trackers purposefully and systematically disciple children
to
know the truths of Christ and to live by faith so that they
will live for the
glory of God. Some of the elements that we use to accomplish this purpose are a scripture memorization program, a preaching / teaching time, and a structured night of fun
activities.
I Stand in Awe
Study for Children on the Bible
 Through
this summer Wednesday night program, our goal is for
children to develop a deep affection for the Bible and learn
to treasure its Author. God, who is the most valuable Being
in all the universe, reveals Himself with clarity and
authority through His Word. This study seeks to acquaint
children ages 3 – grade 3 with the characteristics of the
Bible and its message of redemption. The program runs from
June to August, Wednesday nights from 7:00 – 8:15PM.
Vacation Bible School
 Vacation
Bible School is just around the corner, planned for July 9 –
13, 2007. All children entering grades 1st
through 6th are welcome to attend. Our theme
this year is “Rescue Zone” and will include a time of
singing, Bible memorization, preaching, Bible lesson, games
and refreshments. Plan to come and help invite children to
attend.
